Tuner made the following statement in another post:

The idle circuit in a QJet feeds all the time, unlike a Holley in which the idle circuit reverses at large throttle opening and high air flow.

I am struggling to understand why it would continue to feed at large throttle openings. At larger throttle openings / venturi flow, wouldn't the pressure in the main well be lower that the pressure in the idle down channel? Am I thinking about this wrong?

If the pressure in the main well is lower than the idle down channel, wouldn't the idle tube end up feeding air into the main well?
