I think the issue more than just the ethanol. It's also the other stuff that allows them to have higher winter RVP.
Anyway we survived by limited driving and cooler temperatures.
My other vehicle busted a valve spring so the garage was occupied until the other day. So the only progress in the heat managment has been maximum temperature monitoring along the fuel line.

Idling in traffic the other day in 90 plus air temperatures (don't know how much hotter it was on the unshaded blacktop) resulted in the first time the 150 mark was hit on the fuel line. All 3 forward stickers show they hit it, whether while it was parked or running I can't say. The 4th sticker is further back on the frame rail so I'll have to get underneath to see it.

Next test will be a little more controlled (I hope) so I can be now whether it happened while the engine was running or when sitting in the sun.

No frame rail pic 'cause can't get a clear shot with the camara.
