I've done a bunch like this:

This is for a 1.56" Venturi, 1.75" throttle bore with choke horn removed.

Braswell .190" stepped downleg boosters
BLP 5135 blocks
.190" Angle channels (they come with about .185")
3 emulsions at .026, 1-x-3-x-5
.235 main wells (5135 blocks as delivered)
.026" kill bleed
.025-.028 MAB
.055-.059 Idle bleed
.055-.059 IFR
.176-.188 main jets (usually end up at .184)
TSR open
.059" squirters
Brown cams

The booster size should be .180 on that Q-850-A

Q-850-A is not the same as a Holley 4781 850. Smaller venturi @ 1.40" vs 1.56".

This carb has a 4781 center section.

Is all of the info in the responses with that in mind? I'm a little confused as we started talking about two different venturi sizes.

Exactly why I wanted to point that out.

On a separate note, I just converted a new Holley 850 Ultra XP (which is 1.56") to methanol, same basic configuration as above. So far has picked up .22 in the 1/8th over the same carb on gas. Owner had a big smile... The gas calibration was interesting from Holley, I'll post it some time.
