After stiffening did it spin on the hit or after some roll? If it hooked initially I would keep going stiffer. As Revved and I both mentioned radials bounce like springs, so they need more dampening. Sorry this isn't Holley related, just trying to help out.

I think it was the same, it was hard to tell what it was doing, til i watched video, then i would say it was the same basically after it initially hooked and topped out front, even tho in car it feels at the hit, but we all know how that goes lol and i would agree it probably needed to go tighter then, i do think the extra travel up front now will help also. maybe i wouldnt need a da shock up front yet then if i get the back working better.

DA shock on front of my car makes a world of difference and helped tunability. My car was occasionally standing up before it moved forward and I would go from a .01X lite to a .-02X lite when that happened. Added the DA shocks and tightened up the extension and issue went away. Also improved my 60 ft .02 from 1.31 to 1.29 with more adjustments.

Back to carbies.

I am using the QA1 ProCoil DA up front. Absolutely love them. It saves 14lbs over coil springs, with the added benefit of ride height adjustment.

Not needed. Adjust the ride height so that the car is level. Also, use the spring rate recommended by QA1. I was using some really trick 150lb coil springs before I switched to coilovers. Now, I am using 250lb springs. This setup gives me more stability, along with more tunability,

The CalTracs work best when the car is level at rest, so that is where I set the ride height on mine. It works!

If you make the switch, get the QA1 spanner wrenches (2), and make sure you get the bearing kit for the adjusters.

Here is a track photo of my car last weekend. It leaves the starting line the same way, every time. I adjust tire pressure for the track, I never touch the shocks or CalTracs anymore.

Looks great, What kind of times and weight? I made some shock changes today with the added travel in front,I went from full loose on ext to 8 off full loose and to 10 off full tight on comp from 5 off full tight, car left awesome all day!! 1.43 most of the day, starting line guy said it leaves so smooth in front and back lifting smooth and not smacking rear slicks. pulling them a foot til about the xmas tree :=D

That is great news! Now, you can enjoy Drag Week!

My car is not nearly as fast as you. It weighs 3015lbs, 383sbc, 4.11 gears, TH350 with a brake, torque converter stalls at 5500. Typical 60' is 1.39-1.42, and best 1/8-mile is 6.57 at 103+. That is with nearly 6000ft DA, and typical DA at Barona is 4500-6000. So, I am sure it would fly at another track, just haven't been down the 1/4 in a while.

Your car is coming along great. It should be really consistent with everything you've been doing.

Good luck!
