I was reading something and I saw that someone mentioned never to ridged mount a regulator on the engine. Some say to let it hang from the fuel lines and I can see that working with larger braided fuel lines, but not smaller 6an pushlock style maybe.

My idea was to make two small brackets and mount the fuel line on either side of the reg with cushion clamps or zip ties. Just not sure how loose would be ideal. I assume the main goal is to avoid engine vibrations or large suspension shock from like a bump or wheel stand.

I know some use those rubber isolators like for a ignition box.

Also I've herd in front of the carb and lower to let air out.

Mine hangs between the bowls. And pressure will force any air out, I wouldn't worry about height.
