What amp fuse should I use for a Malory Max-fire dist? Or should I even use one?

Odd it doesn't say something in those instructions. Call them I guess. Says it is a CD ignition but I don't know, 30 amps? I guess you could start out with 1 amp and move up until it doesn't pop, then add 50 or 100%. (smiley face) :thumbr:

Yah I thought the same, I know a msd box has an internal fuse.

I'd call but MSD bought Mallory and their tech support is worthless!

Aw, give it shot when you have a couple seconds. Maybe they kept some Mallory people in tech. Years ago I called - about their mech pumps) and the guy I spoke with really tried to dig up the info.

Failing that, might try emailling Rob Mc - he used to work there before he set up his own business. Not sure if he was still there when that distributor came out, but if not, he might know who to call/e-mail.

LOL I'm dumb, it says a keyed hot and that would be the HEI wire with an inline fuse already.

Still if you were to toggle switch it thru a relay?
