This link http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php is to Innovate Motorsports Support page. Download and install the LogWorks software. The link to it is at the top of the page.

Or click on it here http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/supp ... 3Setup.exe

You will then be able to use LogWorks to view Innovate data logs containing information which will illustrate the subject of discussion, such as tuning changes and their effect on AFR, in posts with an attached Innovate LogWorks log.

The attached Innovate LogWorks data logs are from a Yamaha R1 with nitrous in a Banshee. The sessions were recorded tuning the Power Commander and then spraying it after the tune-up was safe. Sessions 3, 5, and 6 are nitrous passes. The logs include the burnout, staging, the pass and the return road.

The AFR spikes in these logs are from the Power Commander staging rev limiter and the spikes at the shifts are from “Quick Shifter” feature which allows clutchless shifting by controlling a momentary fuel cutoff when the shift lever is activated.

This data was recorded using a DL-32 powered by a 9V battery and an LC-1 powered by the Yamaha’s electrical system. The WBO2 sensor was about midway between the collector and the muffler. The Throttle % was the 0 to 5 V signal from the Yamaha TPS. The RPM was obtained from an injector power lead with an Induction Clamp. The accelerometer is internal in the DL-32.

The launches are erratic because the rider was new at it at the time and the machine was geared way too high, crossing the ¼ at 115 MPH and only 10,000 RPM in 5th (R1 has 6).

File comment: This log has 7 sessions, 6 are ¼ mi. passes. The first is just a check of the setup.

I don't like how it pulls fuel on the shift. it needs to pull timing on the shift, not fuel. Also 11.8 is to rich.

Where is the Timing Graph?

How much n2o jet was being used on this run? wet or dry?

It is what it is, just an example of a data log recorded several years ago. The ignition advance was taken care of in the Power Commander. The spikes on the shifts are not "lean" there is no fuel at all, the fuel cut is a function of the Power Commander which allows clutchless shifting.

If you open the entire log in the LogWorks software you can see the several passes where the engine without the spray was tuned before spraying. It was a wet system with fogger nozzles. The N2O jetting was as delivered by the nitrous system provider. This was the one and only tuning session for this rig and it delivered several years of trouble-free fun.
