1967 Corvette 548 11:1 pump gas 700 WHP @ 6700 rpm; 7000 rpm redline
AFR 335 heads, 108 cc
Ported Vic Jr
Tuned HP 4150 carb, downleg boosters
266/272 solid roller .717 intake/.690 exhaust 112 LSA installed 110 intake centerline
G-Force GF-5R 5-speed; 3.08 IRS w/ Tom's rear and billet inner/outer axles

Street car that looks stock. Lots of dyno tuning and street manners are great...very happy with carb, but looking to see if there is more to be had w/ a Lil Bo. The intake has been angle cut to clear the hood (cold air L88 style); I would guess a carb spacer would be helpful, but I don't have the hood clearance. Do you think the Lil Bo would make more power and if so, any guess how much? Does this have the same overall height and use the same air cleaner base as the HP 4150?

Thanks,

Mark

Which HP 4150? Do you primarily run it on the street or track or ???

Sorry, missed that entirely...

HP 1000 0-80513-1 downleg boosters. 50 cc front & rear

Mostly street driving...and some unsanctioned stuff...

Trying to determine if and how much the Lil Bo may be worth before taking the plunge.

Thanks,

Mark

I have some I could build here, just not sure you would see enough to make it worthwhile if you already have that dialed in. The 3.08 gear will make a smaller carb have sightly quicker response, so any gains later in the runs will probably be minimized.

Thanks...just a clarification on the 3.08 gears...the GF-5R 5-speed manual is direct 1:1 in 5th gear, no OD...4th gear gives the same ratio as a 4-speed manual w/ a 4.11 rear end... I only use 5th for cruising - not racing

As far as height, I'll have to measure, but I doubt it's any taller. As far as gains, I just don't think you will see much, .05-.10 on the outside if even that.

Thanks for the information and I appreciate you did not oversell the new carb capability for my application
