 holley 850 4781-3 with percy's adjusta jet block ?

with the percy kit installed and the new acc pump arms that come with the kit...cant get the 0.15 clearance at wot, but ok at idle..thoughts

At idle it should just be touching, but no clearance. WOT is OK as long as there is the smallest clearance there. Sometimes you have to bend the pump arms up a little to change the contact point farther around the cam so it doesn't open as far.

Hope that's a typo 0.15, should be .015, heck of a difference.

how will I know when the pumps and shooters are at the best they are going to get?

Best how? With an O2 sensor you want it a little rich at launch, then level out on the mains at WOT.The circuit is there to cover the sudden load change until the mains catch up, and only as much fuel as needed. to not have a stumble issue.

Smaller squirters and cams with less fuel until it stumbles. Add a little back until it doesn't stumble.

thanks...I plugged the sec. pv and jetted it to 88, pri 82. replaced the 40 squirters to 31, left the hollow squirter bolts and the 50cc pumps front and rear.. will try and test wed...

just wondering how close you think I will be before I go testing... the car is a 66 dart gasser, weighs 2800#. mild built 440, and trans. 410 gear
