What's going on here? Running out of fuel? If it's running out wouldn't it stay lean?

Yea it's this one. viewtopic.php?f=26&t=956&start=20#p11476
It has a short spacer about 5/8. 530 hp 421 sb. It has the Qjet that was converted to Dual MAB.
Cruise is perfect.

C'mon, you know the drill. Is the jet/rod and hanger/rod setup top secret? How tight is the air door spring?

Is there a spacer between the carb and the air filter?

No secrets. Pri. 76 52M sec. Hanger B CV rods
Yes I has a 5/8 spacer carb to air cleaner, 4 inch filter.
Pri. AB .046 upper & lower
Sec. AB are .026 inverted with the holes drilled on the sides like in your sec. modification.
Comp jet .040 cap jet .055?
Air valve between 1/4 & 1/2

The M primary rod has a .036" tip. I think you need a primary rod with a .026" tip. or skinny that one down.

The B hanger is plenty rich, but that effect is mostly in the early part of secondary opening. Have you tried a richer secondary rod?

It does have a reasonably flat A/F over what appears to be a wide range. In session 3, what is the RPM range between 20 and 30 seconds?

On that log 3 I went WOT at about 6 seconds to about 16 seconds then the 20 to 30 second area I was coasting down.
When I went to WOT the rpm range should have been 4500- 6000.
I think the primary jetting is OK it will go to around 12.5 to 13 during heavy accel. on the primaries.
I'm still thinking fuel flow issue.

So, you got on it at 7 sec. shifted at 9.5 sec. shifted again at 13 sec. ?? If that is the case, it looks like it is short on delivery somehow. Do you have fuel pressure gauge info? Is there a filter in the inlet, is it clean? Last time I had this sort of thing was a couple weeks ago and it was the line from the frame to the fuel pump on the engine had a kink. The sneaky one is an air leak in the rubber hose at the top of the tank that doesn't leak fuel out, but does leak air in.

What size is the inlet seat?

I've never used a .036" tip primary rod with a dual bleed or dual bleed conversion, so I don't know what to expect. I do know I have never seen an original dual bleed carb with other than the .026" tip.

That's probably close on the shifts. I'll have to put a gauge on to check the pressure again. I have an inline filter that is new.
Inlet seat is .140.
Thinking I have a similar issue with the fuel line, makes me feel like a fool looking at it.

Well what I did didn't fix it.
Ran 12.15 @ 112 If I can get the fuel issues taken care of should be well into the 11's.
Between the black lines should be the run.
