I'd appreciate suggestions for a TPS to use for datalogging with a carb. A junkyard option is A-Ok with me. Also, any pictures of mounting with a wire or string to the throttle lever would be welcome. This would be for use with the Innovate Auxbox although I assume they all are pretty similar.

This might give you an idea, or buy one from them.

Thanks Mark. I didn't know Holley made one. I was looking for a divorced setup that has been discussed on the old Innovate forum a few times. But the direct attached could work out as well.

this was a mockup of mine using a GM TPS, I took the whole shaft from the throttle body, fiddled it into my half arsed mount and made a bracket that clamped over the shaft, giving the same radius as the throttle arm on the holley and the same direction of rotation.

I dont have a pic but once i got a stable reading and a good spread of 0-5v on the TPS and carb linkage i made up a rod end link to the right length.

I toyed with different ratios on the linkage to try and get the resolution finer on the TPS but never bothered with it in the end.

Phill,
Thanks. That's the type of setup I was thinking of.
