This is my second Super Gas timed run, 9.887 @ 155.65. The car has run as fast as 8.603 @ 157.82.
So I'm happy with the mph.
The first timer was @ 0.01 & the second timer was 1.53.
O2 is in the #5 primary, 12" from the cylinder head.

Carb build

This run was with the bowl vent I posted.
I'm going to try raising the cruise RPM to about 4300 RPM. The lean spike might be the engine droping below the main circuit.

Or take the stop off and come run Top Sportsman. . . apparently that's where I'll be at track champs coz I'll be too fast for super sedan :(

Col I think you're the man to get a rule proposal through for 'Top Gas' at 8.90 or 8.50 and 'Pro Gas' at 7.90!! Then you can learn me how to use a throttle stop!! :D

Can't see 8.90/7.90 happening any time soon. Any way, let's get back on track.
The AFR log does look smoother with the vent in place. I will post an older log, that I didn't have it on.
I wonder if I can overlay two runs and then post it up?

If you post both log files, people can then overlay them in the Racepak software.
Or, overlay them at your end, and post a screenshot.

Finally got around to putting the Racepak software on this computer. .

In my very uneducated opinion, it looks like it's got a leaner up top thing going on. . it jumps a whole A/F number from the start of the run when the stop comes off to the finish line.
I'm not sure how flat it's possible to get them. . but I would try and get it a little flatter.. have you tried a smaller MAB in it?
Fuel pressure staying constant?
