What or how do these plugs look? New plugs -7 NGK and only about 8 runs on them, and not just WOT. I was running about 30 total, then i tried 33 one run and slowed some so went back to the 29-30 for a few more runs, .108 BLP jets 1050 dom with .990 skirts. 11.1 comp, 91 octane. Plugs 1, 3, two pics of 3, Ill add another post after this for the other pics of the plugs, the pics are named as the number of plug it is. I can see the fuel ring down inside , its dark and maybe 1/16 wide all the way around it.

What I see looks good for a new plug, is there a light ring at the base of the porcelain, down in the plug?

Mark, Yes there is, actually looks a tad darker then light by looking down in there, I may cut it open to see actually how dark it is. I was thinking maybe a tad more timing out as the center electrode looks just a tad melted under high magnification, This was probably 8 runs on the plugs sat , that's idling in staging , burnouts, return road etc... The last pass, I just came back to my trailer and loaded it up.

Mark, Im cutting a plug open today after work and will post it, question for you if the ring is dark and narrow, will i still need more fuel as the air gets better or is that tune good, and engine will make more power automatically as the air gets better?
Thanks

It looks real close, a tad rich maybe, as far as what it wants for jets you will have to let the track tell you and may be good as is. Have you tried richer or leaner at the track same day to see what it likes? With the skirts .108 jet is in the ballpark.

Mark I haven't since I switched to these BLP Jets The weather isnt looking that good this sat, about the same as last with a tad less dew and hum.. I could still try the .106 I suppose after a few solid runs, and then the .110's well see. How much does it effect it driving back to the pits and as far as way down inside instead of clicking it off at stripe? Remember these plugs have 8 runs, plus a bunch of idle time etc, and still look damn clean .Next sat It looks pretty good , with dew points in mid to upper 20's and 45% hum and 59 degrees :=D

Just A little update I ran this sat again, pretty much same weather in the morning, a tad less dew point is all, car ran 129.18, compared to the week before at barely 128. I added .002 jet , I went up to some BLP.110's
I didnt check a plug to see how it looked this time, I figured if the mph went up in same weather it wanted jet.
