It's a well documented fact that Edelbrock(Weber) afb style carbs stall your engine when turning corners. Not always but rarely mine did it also. I recently re-ringed and bearing'd a motor and it is doing it at every friggin' corner :( Is it a vacuum issue?

I checked the float levels(all good) and also the needle's and seats(all good also).

I have a Quady sitting on the bench to put a kit through tomorrow, or should I persist with the Edelbrock? I am a fan of Quadrajets.......maybe I should just rebuild the one I have and move on.

I would take a Qjet over an eddy/carter/afb any day. Ive never had one that ran flat. Either too lean on the big end or too fat in the middle.

I'm not a carb guy, and couldn't be bothered dicking with Edelbrock.

I kicked the Edelbrock to the kerb and rebuilt the Quady :D Good like gold 8)
