What cleaner /solution /concoctions are people using in their ultrasonic cleaners to clean their carbs?

Zep Rust Eliminator. Comes in a 5 gallon pail. Good oxide removal. Works on aluminum and zinc too, not just iron or steel.

The “aluminum safe” cleaners which contain Sodium Metasilicate are good.

A table spoon of laundry detergent or dishwashing soap with a squirt or two or three of spray carb cleaner in the water is a fair grease remover.

It seems the ultrasound amplifies the action of anything you use in the water so it doesn’t seem to require much of whatever you use. Just plain water works pretty well.
